  2. Exactly why we shouldn't give a hoot about what these once-mighty network giants have to say. They're irrelevant to the public conversation. The wonder is how much attention WE pay to those clowns, because the rest of the country clearly is not. That's why they're so bad. They know what appeals to the teeny tiny market niche they have. And they push it, relentlessly. FOX isn't really in competition with them. The formerly major networks are all fighting over about 5 million brain-dead neolibs. Fox owns the neocons.
