I don't think card mechanics are a deep dark secret. I admire the skill even more when I know how it's done. A good mechanic can deal himself 4 aces without my being able to even see what he's doing even though I know exactly what he's doing. It's like watching any great musician, painter or sculptor. It's so simple, yet the skill required takes thousands of hours of training and practice to perfect.

@DeflatingAtheism You're only targeting the weak mind with the propaganda. You don't have to convince intelligent people. You just have to convince enough stupid people, who are far more sure of themselves and easy to direct against intelligent and kind people. It's less about right and wrong and more about indoctrinating the weak-minded, who always outnumber the strong-minded and have far fewer scruples about how low they'll stoop to get their way. You may be 100% on the right side of history and get knocked on the head by a moron.

@acetate909 Carlin was a big-government shill in his prime. He was edgy, in a way, but very pro-establishment (pro nanny government) while pretending to be anti-establishment.
