  3. That's how it is with most lefties. They're all for government this and government that, until THEY are hurt. To see the potential harm before the fact takes more thought than most progressives are capable of. There are no solutions. Only trade-offs. When you understand that, then you have to ask yourself whom you trust to decide those trade-offs: you or a bureaucrat hired by a politician?
