  1. The perception of Trump's European tour is out of line with the actual situation. The E.U. people are all NATO people, and Trump gave them the unvarnished truth and showed respect to the one person he met who mattered: Putin. Whether you like Putin or not, he's head and shoulders about the NATO countries on all matters of importance, whether we're on his side or in opposition. NATO countries are butt-hurt because they're irrelevant on the big issues, and their leadership has been incompetent for decades.
