  1. There is another protection against official lies: limiting the power and reach of officialdom. After COVID, are you questioning your Med-4-All religion, Jimmy? Just because health care system is broken doesn't mean MORE government intervention in health care is the solution. It's the same with climate change. Even if you believe we're causing the planet to heat up, don't jump on the power-grab strategies put forth by the establishment to "solve" the climate crisis. I wouldn't even buy into the proposition that we are causing catastrophic climate change, and neither do the wealthy grifters flying around in their private planes to chastise us for our way of life and buying beach front property.

  4. The state isn't the biggest liar. It's just the liar who can screw things up for everyone at one go. You can walk away from Joe Rogan or Alex Jones. You can't walk away from the FBI at your door or your unit's deployment abroad or inflation or terribad public schools, ... There are liars, truth tellers and mixtures of both. No getting away from that. But when the government gets it wrong, everybody suffers.
