  1. They made a deal with the Devil when they took the gift of new territory that was entirely dependent on U.S. funding and security guarantees. As a nation in a permanent state of extremis, atrocities are baked into their now 75-year-old history. The more they do to defend themselves, the more people they recruit to their destruction. The more they do to secure American support by any and all means available, including labeling their critics as anti-Semites. The minute they lose America's full support, their days are numbered. American support is necessary, which begs the question of its sufficiency. Even if the will is there, I'm not sure that the USA can provide enough material support. For the first time in 100 years, the USA/Europe are not the endless cornucopia of goods and services from the excess production of free-market capitalism. All their markets are WEAK as the direct result of well-intentioned but ill-considered green policies that, as usual, result in the opposite of what is intended.
