  2. Under fiat currency, you're a fool to save money, because the government devalues the currency with big-spending programs. Big government punishes prudence, so they create a system in which everybody behaves like helpless children, because to do otherwise is to basically foot the bill for every other idiot in the country. (Progressive politics is hand-in-glove with these policies)
