  1. The foreign-policy and national-security "geniuses" who got us into Vietnam (and prevented us from winning it) are still worshipped as demi-gods. Same for the jerks who got us into Iraq. We have domestic-policy and economic-policy "geniuses" who run the welfare state and seek to expand it. They NEVER get the results, but we just keep throwing money at failed programs and repeating the same mistakes. People suffer. The "geniuses" get promoted and land plumb jobs at major corporations that are behind the policies.

  2. They say "Take our word for it. We can't show you the evidence, because we need to protect our sources and methods." This is how they kept the RussiaGate hoax and the WMD hoax going for YEARS. When they say "Take our word for it," I just assume they're lying and/or don't have any idea what they're talking about.
