  2. It doesn't have to be true to blackmail somebody. Not when you have the power of the press. "We'll hound you with lies until you back off." It's EASY to destroy someone with smears. Not everybody has the backbone or energy or perseverance to soldier on, regardless. Most of us will just fold rather than getting in an unfair fight. Trump DGAF.
