  1. Nationalism can also be a bad thing. It's just not as bad as globalism, where the bad decisions of a few are visited on everyone in the world at the same time. I'd say nationalism before globalism. Regionalism before nationalism. Town before region. Neighborhood before town. Family before neighborhood. That's normal. In the human ecosystem, focus needs to be where it starts. Healthy families make healthy neighborhoods make healthy towns make healthy counties make healthy states(provinces) make healthy nations. People understand and worship this principle when it comes to environment, but they reject it when it comes to human beings, and then wonder why things got so messed-up.

  2. No, Jimmy. It's not that they're insulated from the chaos they create. It's that they PROFIT from the chaos that they create, and I'm not talking about weapons manufacturers, although they do very well with these clowns in charge, too. The REAL profit is having deep pockets so they can move in immediately after they've torn a place to pieces and BUY when prices are at rock bottom. They're as setting things up so they can traipse around the world buying up land and other properties when the prices are depressed as much as possible. I'd call them vultures, but vultures don't kill the animals on whose corpses they feast, but these globalists surely DO. Infiltrating and subverting institutions is how they set things up to crash.
