@bonchidude : Chickens, rabbits, deer, ... Those critters can turn plants we do NOT eat into protein for us! Plant matter on land that we do NOT have to cultivate. Eschewing meat is actually not a perfect solution at all.

Screw all the pork in the bill. If all they did was beef up unemployment funds and shift resources to unemployment offices and services, I'd be a lot happier. Businesses that go belly-up from a few weeks' down time were on the verge of going under, anyway. LET THEM. All kinds of new business opportunities under the current conditions and free people are much more capable of figuring out what will work than a bunch of stuffed shirts in Washington, D.C. Get people their unemployment checks. Don't prop up moribund businesses. DEFinitely don't prop up the bankers and big business. I also noticed Fake News is getting a shot in the arm, when IT should go under, and independents like Jimmy Dore and others make out like bandits. That's the problem with preventing failure. You inhibit SUCCESS, and Jimmy's on the right track.

Ann Ohalloran : He'll have to check with his Chinese masters, first. The lab in Wuhan was proud of how their strain was destroying lung tissue in mice and talking about primate research. They went dark when the virus got loose, due to Chinese incompetence. That said, it wouldn't surprise me if there were Ivy-Leaguers (at Harvard) working on this. They smuggled the research (and samples) out of the USA, because that's what the Chinese do, and then they lost containment, because that's how incompetent the Chinese are.
