  1. I thought about taking the flu vaxx, but I noticed the people at work who took it got really sick every year. I just started associating the flu shot with overweight, out of shape people who got sick a lot. Maybe it helped them. I don't know. But I stayed trim and avoided drinking (No more beer on Sundays!). Seriously, I think I called in sick one Monday when I drank too much at a football double-header watch party. 20 years. No shot. No flu. Co-workers dropping like flies... Just anecdotal, but that's my 'lived experience.'

  5. But he's a socialist, and therefore economically illiterate and not really a pro-liberty guy. Even confronted by the abuse of power, they still want the power concentrated in the hands of a few, kidding themselves that it's just a matter of having "the right people" in key positions. There are no "right people," and if there are, the minute they take power, they become the 'wrong people.' Human nature. Progressives live in denial.
