  1. I can see Trump's short-term posture vis-a-vis China needs to be very flex, right now. It wouldn't surprise me if China tied economic concessions to allowing a unified, non-nuclear Korean peninsula, which would be better for the world. Get the ball rolling in Korea, and re-visit all matters China, down the road. Just do not let on that this is what you're doing. Oops! Let the cat outta the bag! I'm agnostic on the small stuff, 'til after we see which way the big stuff breaks.

You want a good book on endings, for sure. That part of your game needs to be like a machine. I think we all have our Capablanca phase, but you end up contending with the Modern and King's Indian themes. So you go the Queen's Gambit route. I tended to play hypermodern, because a lot of players know their Capablanca better than they understand playing against the middle, with a fianchettoed Bishop.
