  1. Bullshit: "Capitalism touches things and turns them into shit." NONE of this would've happened to the degree it happened or as universally as it happened WITHOUT government. They created the agencies and the agencies gave the robber barons a handful of administrators and legislators to corrupt. This always happens, and you idiot progressives always blame it on capitalism, when it's YOUR GOVERNMENTISM that gives these robber barons access to HUGE levers to move wealth into their hands by foul means, with the weight of government covering for them or sternly slapping them on the writ with a fine that would ruin a little guy (and often does) but that costs the robber baron millions to make billions. You're half smart, you progressives. You always think it's just a few people screwing everything up, and then you create these massive institutions with massive power to do harm in the hands of a very few people. Then 10 or 20 years down the road, you'll be shocked and surprised at the shit-show that your libertarian brothers were warning you 10 and 20 years ago. Of COURSE this happened. It was only a matter of time, and all you progressives want to do is address the symptoms, rather than ever question your big-government positions.
