  1. We are the products of our environments and heritage. We've systematically destroyed our heritage, basically out of regret for depriving others of theirs. Now, after decades of uninterrupted prosperity, we're spoiled and ignorant, thanks to public education and the welfare state. The average citizen is protected from the consequences of their bad decisions, and punished for their hard work and prudence. The more you do right, the more they take away from you. The more you do wrong, the more they give you.
