  2.  @stevenhines5550  No. It's the fascist variety of socialism that created the machinery that pushed this and crushed all dissent. A mere capitalist doesn't have the power of censorship. Everyone gets this wrong. If we were a free-market capitalist society, companies wouldn't be able to write the rules, themselves, and then hide behind the government. They couldn't censor people who called them out, without the help of government. You're drawing all the wrong conclusions from the available evidence. But you just can't break free of the illusion that government officials all have your best interests at heart. They have their own interests, and are protected by regulation from facing any consequences for their errors, let alone their crimes. If we weren't well on the way to socialism, already, there would be no Tony Fauci's with the power they have to muck everything up for everyone in the entire country all at once.
