@spaceantelope1 Can't find baked goods anywhere in USA that are actually healthy. The French maybe got this one right.

@nolitetebastardescarborund9761 Maybe I'm participating in a myth? There are some nasty products in America that are banned in Europe, and particularly in France. But you know a helluva lot more about baked goods in France than I do, I reckon.

@nolitetebastardescarborund9761 I just scrolled back. I said France > USA with baked goods, and you pointed out that the mass-produced baked goods in France are also bad. But at least you have a local bakery that cranks out the good stuff. You can't find that in the USA in most places I've lived. It's Big Food or No Food. Go to the local bakery and their ingredients are pretty much the same as Big Food's. There IS a "Co-op" run by a bunch of commies in a university town 30 miles down the road that makes real bread. But who drives 30 miles for a loaf of bread? I think you're more urban than I am.
