  2.  cj p  : The irony is that they will complain about CO2 emissions while at the same time using oil revenues to prop up their socialist schemes. But yes. Their tariffs, corporate taxes, capital gains taxes and the like have been MUCH lower than the USA's since Democratic Socialism drove them to the brink of collapse back in the '70s.

  3. You can't say Bernie's falling down on the job, because he's never been successful in any kind of real job. He was nothing until he finally won a spot at the public trough. Now he's a millionaire, and not one bit of it was on his own merit. He just spouts shit that he thinks will sell, usually about things HE wants to do with MY money. Clueless. Incompetent. Only thing he's good at is getting votes from dumb-ass lefties.

  5. But they no longer hold the monopoly on the conversation. It kind of doesn't matter. They prop up their outlets, but people aren't watching/believing those outlets, any more. And for every person they silence, 2 people rise up out of the oyster grass. It's like the good guys are HYDRA, not in the evil conspiracy sense, but in the sense that every time you cut off one head, 2 more grow in its place.

  6.  @bentontruff662  : I don't know how far it reaches, but I DO know our "intelligence community" has gotten many - maybe MOST - of the big issues WRONG, dating back to the early Cold War and continuing right up to the present day. I'm just not sure I need a conspiracy theory to explain it. I think they're just not very competent.
