I think you're hysterical about COVID-19. You could save more lives by making cars illegal. People die every day in car wrecks. There's risk attached to everyday life, and human beings manage that risk, every day, without being parented by asshole technocrats who garner prestige by bludgeoning us with dangers against which they insist only THEY can protect us. You call it speaking truth to power, but you're bending the knee to the establishment and hurting the most vulnerable members of society by keeping things shut down. The science is in. We can treat the illness, it's not as fatal as everyone feared at first, and the lock-downs don't appear to have as much effect as we thought. The only thing the lock-down guarantees is that 20%-25% of us can no longer earn our daily bread. You call yourself a 'progressive,' but your scorn for the working man is on your sleeve.
