  1. CAIR was founded in 1994. 9/11 was in 2001. This IS a misstatement of fact, which is unfortunate, because she makes a very good point about the Patriot Act and how the 9/11 attacks were used to push through what amounts to a green-light for the police state. NSA surveillance of citizens. FISA courts. They can call you a terrorist and disappear your ass w/o due process. Some scary shit. I'm NOT a fan of Omar's at ALL, but when she makes a good point, she makes a good point.
