  1. Real progressive hippie types tend to be the nicest people. Progressive politicians tend to be the worst people. What makes them the worst kind is their blatant hypocrisy. But I've never had a problem getting a hippie type to pitch in something local for the community. Alas, they always vote for people who want to run everything top-down from Washington.
