Their greed is going to cost them everything. These "news" organizations are destroying themselves. Our government institutions are destroying themselves, too.

They have the right to call themselves whatever they wish. They just can't make anybody believe them.

To the extent that they were knowing complicit with the government to spread lies and disinformation, yes. But I think the most you can get them for is not following the guidelines of their own profession. I think the media has plausible deniability for taking the word of government insiders who were planting those lies. It's very difficult to prove that the journalists were nothing more than incompetent. It's the government officials, exceeding their authority and flouting the U.S. Constitution who should be held criminally and civilly liable. #1 the leaks were illegal #2 the leaks were lies. I'm sick of DOJ officials stonewalling Congress to "protect the integrity of an investigation," while they're leaking the most lurid and dishonest smears to access media, who uncritically run with the stories because they got it from a high DOJ official, and then hide behind anonymity of sources.

@wayneelliott3474 Chickenpox is lose-lose situation. If you don't get it when you're young, it can kill you if you catch it as an adult. If you do get it when you're young, you're prone to coming down with shingles when you're older.
