  1. They use their power to censor and de-platform the truth and truth tellers. Then reality forces them to admit they were wrong and the people they censored were correct, but they somehow still think they have credibility and those truth tellers are crazy, and they'll say it was years ago, water under the bridge, and now it's a new lie everyone must believe or be censored or de-platformed, all over again. The fact that dang near half the population just mindlessly ignores the shifting goalposts, doesn't even REMEMBER the goalpost shift, and are JUST as certain the latest uncorroborated lie is the absolute truth.
