  2. It's all a charade. Our leaders are worse than useless. They're insane. Keeping Russia an enemy and making China an enemy - at least in our eyes - is a key for their "remain-in-power" strategy. If we hate Russia and China, we will tolerate all kinds of crazy spending and forever war.
