  1. In mathematics, when you arrive at an absurdity, you conclude you were reasoning from a false premise. You "sincere" liberals can clearly see the absurdities, but you don't ever question your root assumptions, and so you're stuck on a wheel of decrying absurdities that inevitably arise from your own false assumptions about the world and human nature (and government). So you're going around in circles forever, begging for government to solve the human condition and then bitching because government fails at the job, over and over and over and over and over again. As Danerys would say "Break the wheel!" Hop off the bandwagon that's pointed everybody towards the cliff, rather than trying to stop it or change course by sticking your feet out, like Fred Flintstone.

  2. I agree with reallocating funds squandered on imperialism, but not back into gov't to squander on YOUR pie-in-the-sky BS. Give that money back to the people! Green tech is very marketable. People will choose green over dirty, every time, when it makes sense for them. And that's the key to self-sustaining green tech. Government bureaucrats will just waste the money, with no relation to whether or not this or that technology is economically feasible or even reasonable.
