Something similar happened when Eisenhower fired Allen Dulles as CIA Director. It didn't end anything. The same crew still ran the CIA. The Dulles brothers laid down the blueprint, and it remains unchanged, except for being more and more ingrained. The USA has its own, bigger, more clumsy version of the British Empire operating under our noses.
