  2.  @Takudza  I think low-cost, short-range vehicles make a ton of sense. But it's ludicrous to believe that they have anywhere near the range and ability to do the same work as ICE for the same weight.

  3. I think we pollute more than we need to and we're big enough to create huge problems for the global ecosystem. But the global warming crowd want human extinction (or profound die-back) and don't care even a little bit about the ecological devastation created by the manufacture and disposal of all the batteries. You want to save the planet? Make a car that you can repair and use for a lifetime. Make computers and phones that last a lifetime. The people lecturing us also push disposable "durable goods." It's all a scam. You can tell when all the muckety-mucks pushing the scam fly in private jets to the latest climate conference in Dubai.
