  1. I can see buying a little putt-putt, like a golf cart, to move things around my property or maybe run over to the grocery store across the way. But no way am I buying an EV that has an advertised range that's meant to replace an ICE for actual road travel over 20 miles.

  2. Assuming I had an EV, which I don't, when I heard this story, I'd be looking for ways to add a switch to my charging system that prevented the current from flowing the wrong way. I bet such a setup would become the hottest product on the market.
