  1. Cowardice is bred into most predators, because even a minor injury can mean death. Honey badgers and wolverines are exceedingly hard to kill, let alone seriously injure. They also have the wickedest bite in the animal kingdom. That little stoat kills the hare with a bite through the skull or spine. Unadulterated aggression has kept the species around for a million years.
