  1. In the old days, they reserved the right to vote to those who owned land. Maybe we should reserve the vote to people who actually pay income tax. Everybody else has an interest in the government spending more on everything. It's like giving one part of the population the right to take money by force from another part. I think the federal government would be a lot smaller if we did that.
