  1. The so-called "left" is just re-branded authoritarian socialism, which is just old-fashioned Divine Right of Kings re-branded. "We know better than you, and so you must do as we say." That's not "left." It stopped being "left" when they started the Free Stuff in the '40s. Social Security recruited a lot of Democrats. But that was nothing compared with Great Society of the '60s. And with each new hand-out, the surveillance state and the authoritarianism got a little bit bigger and more intrusive, and the more eagerly weak people voted for them. Now we are treated like ignorant peasants, and they still think this is "libralism." It's not liberalism. It's a "nice" way to drag us back into the serfdom liberalism emerged centuries ago to combat.
