  1. Not surprised. But I'm not celebrating broadcast/cable ratings, because broadcast and cable t.v. are trash and the viewers are a shrinking minority that become less relevant every day. They're pretty easy to dance around, though. You can tell in less than 5 minutes where they're getting their news from the low-info opinions, and avoid triggering them. It keeps them in their echo chamber, which is sort of sad, but it makes your day easier. It's very similar to dealing with cultists of any sort. Don't argue with the skinhead on the merits of fascism. Don't argue with Antifa on the merits of socialism. Don't argue with an ABC viewer on the merits of any Democrat talking points.
