  1. The last few hundred years, we peasants have gotten too uppity. We're much easier to control when we're poor and lack transportation. NONE of the "officials" pushing this top-down, authoritarian "green push" will be affected. None of them are changing THEIR lifestyles. None of THEM are giving up firearms for protection. None of THEM gave up social gatherings during lockdowns. 300 years after we shot down the aristocracy, the aristocracy is making its bid for a return to serfdom for the masses. Everything we do to live better is being systematically taken away, in the name of global-warming religion that's run by charlatans.

  2. Buying an electric car to "save the planet" is ridiculous. It's just trading one form of pollution for another. Meanwhile, electricity is generated mostly by coal, oil and gas powered plants. Every time you use fuel to generate electricity, you waste some fuel. Changing energy from one form to another always loses some energy. It's entropy. Using that fuel to power your vehicle directly is the most efficient use of that fuel.
