  1. Trump isn't that bad. His rhetoric isn't the best, but he's an American. Our freedom and blunt speech is supposed to horrify the pearl-clutching and utterly ruthless ruling class. He governed well. Surprisingly well. His biggest weakness was not firing people like he was supposed to, and appointing a few real losers, like Pompeo and Bolton. Didn't weaponize agencies against his foes. In fact, agencies were weaponized against HIM. Trump's a lot farther from Hitler than any Democrat politician. Review your history. Oh wait. You're freaking socialists, so you LIKE big government taking care of us, and that's exactly why Hitler had all the support he had. Free train rides! Free health care! Free education! And all of that stuff was part of a larger, cultural systm of control that I see building in our country, and it's all due to "progressive compassion" which always means government force and a lessening of the individual. If your idea of "compassion" is better government programs, you're a hypocrite and you just haven't thought things through. That's why you're always surprised at the corruption and authoritarianism that you enabled.
