After the behavior of the left for years, it took a lot of gall to go after Jan 6 the way they did. For the size of the rally, the amount of violence was very slight, compared to any number of BLM protests. Jan 6 was "mostly peaceful" by any definition. But I agree with you lefties that Trump admin isn't really repudiating the core principles (meaning "no principles") when it comes to Ukraine and Israel. MAGA wanted a halt to military aid to Ukraine and government foreign aid altogether. I notice you guys care about first principles on entangling alliances, but don't care about first principles of liberty and limited government. You like liberty, you say, but you put government ahead of the people all the time, in the name of government "serving" the people. You guys missed the most important lesson of COVID: Don't put a handful of people in charge of deciding for everyone on anything.
