  1. A focus group found that "employee engagement" is important and that being mommy and daddy to the worker helps. All that worker engagement stuff just gets in my way at work. Company gym. Company masseur/masseuse. Mental health counseling. Safe spaces. All stuff I will never use, but somebody pays for. Free meals at meetings. There's a part of the workforce that loves this stuff and will never challenge inept, wasteful and self-indulgent management. I just want to provide the best service possible for my clients, but management squeezes my productive hours. I already had a full day before all the touchie-feelie stuff, and I resent it. And yes, I have to work overtime to provide the same quality of service that I've always provided.
