  1. PC culture has its roots in the CEO pinching the ass of a cute secretary, and stuff like that. In that respect, a little PC was good for society. But it's morphed into something very corrosive, where sociopaths and narcissists wield their supposedly hurt feelings like war axes. They're not offended. They've just got it in for someone, or maybe just want to get a rush from destroying somebody. Some people are pretty sadistic.

Good points about how the rejection of left parties in UK and across Europe isn't because people everywhere are red-pilling against big government and lavish government programs the way conservatives or libertarians have. People still want their Free Stuff, unfortunately, even though they can plainly see that these large, top-heavy institutions are not in it for the people at all. But some people are truly going full-on red-pill, after being shocked out of it by oppressive, humorless, and arrogant leftists. There are SOME real philosophical turn-arounds, but most people just think the establishment's getting one or two things (Bending the knee to the EU in the UK. Open borders in the USA.) wrong. They like the big establishment. They just want it to do what they tell it and for everything to work, properly.
