Good point about how your individual echo chamber is reinforced by essentially the same algorithms that splash Filson Wool ads when I'm on an NFL site, because I bought a Filson shirt, online. Heh. I bought a steam table basin for my kitchen sink, and now I'm bombarded by Restaurant Supply ads! Same thing happened on FaceBook, when I'd click on an anarchocapitalist von Mises site and put my brain through the meat grinder on that stuff. Following links for 2 clicks, I'm in Trumpster land! But I follow all kinda stuff, with friends from all over the political map, so lots of "Being Liberal" stuff and other Progressive stuff. MOST people seem to come out of that "Mirror what you already thought" experience with talking points from either CNN or the "other side" FOX. They're always topical. They're always taken from recent Mainstream headlines. There's rarely any "original thought" on the proper role of government or the nature and blessing of freedom, at the root of the main ideological divide here and abroad. And that's the stuff I like talking about.

What if you DID listen to both sides and came a way an Adam-Smith, free-market capitalist? Does that make me alt-right, or a classical liberal? I reject the oligarchy in its original monarchic form and its present nanny-government form.
