  2. Democrat voters WANT to be told ridiculous things that fit with their world view. Never mind that their platform is economically illiterate. It's appealing to pie-in-the-sky liberals who think utopia is achieved when everybody just shares more, but at the same time let THEM keep THEIR stuff. It's always the guy across the street or down the block who should give up HIS stuff, because HE'S so greedy. This reminds me of the one time my grandfather cried. People in his congregation accused him of being selfish and greedy. They had NO idea of how many people he helped, and how much he gave to charity, while living a very simple life, himself. He never said a word about all the giving he did. He thought it wasn't Christian to brag about his generosity. When Grandpa passed away, people lined up around the block to pay their respects, and that was the only time the larger community ever saw how generous and kind he actually was. The hate he got from his own congregation broke his heart, in life.

  3.  @domega7392  This is very true. That's why they virtue signal to make government programs, instead of just giving to charity, themselves, and encouraging others to do so. Republican voters have always contributed more to charity than Democrat voters.
