This is how federal agencies handle their affairs. They always consult their "important stakeholders." This is why regulations they SAY are written to curb big business always end up helping big business, because they always involve the big corporations when they're writing the tax/regulatory code. This is how the U.S. federal government works. They make a big show of going after the robber barons, while simultaneously doing their bidding. The American people never tire of the bait and switch. They never catch on, because the legacy media have been pawns for generations, and they always paint a rosy picture.
