  2. California is a state that believes drought is so bad that it need not build any reservoirs to capture spring runoff. That's the logic of California leadership.

  6. I was amazed that the tax reform bill actually got passed, because it ended the federal subsidy for high state and local taxes. Basically what those states have been doing for YEARS is raid all the other states. Now, the states with high taxes pay the TRUE cost of their spendthrift ways, and it's going to wreck them.
