They've been buying votes since Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Further, since Lyndon Johnson, they've been buying votes with money they don't have. They just make us pay for their schemes by printing money and inflating the currency. You don't get ahead in Washington, DC, by saying "No" to ANY kind of spending. Let the children and grandchildren pay for our self-indulgence!
