  1. At worst, we pay higher prices here and there, but more of us will have better-paying jobs at the same time. If we hold the line, we'll get concessions pretty quickly, and the tariffs will barely take hold before they're revoked. And if we can't hold the line, then the tariffs will be revoked, any way. Either way, I don't see us having to live through a long period of high tariffs.
