  1. Don't partake of the fallacy that politicians run this country. That's why were in the mess we're in. Federal government's only supposed to defend the constitution, not be our parent or the "runners of our country." We, the People, run this country, and the federal government needs to be beaten back to its original, limited scope and role. It doesn't matter which party is in power. There's just too much power concentrated in the hands of too few.
