Tell us who's gonna be hurt by the tariffs and compensate them out of the revenue from the tariffs. Work something out. Make it look to Mexico like the U.S. finally means it. Why can't people relax, and at least SEE if the Mexicans change their policies! They could help us a LOT with the border crisis, by doing something on THEIR southern border. If McConnell were on the side of the angels, he wouldn't let off-year polling drive his decision-making. If he were strategizing with the good guys for the win, he'd've held off shooting off his mouth until we got a chance to see if the THREAT was enough to get movement in the right direction from the Mexican side of the border. If he bought in to America's best interests, he'd've given Trump at LEAST the time-window before it ratcheted upward.
