  3. I didn't remember what Mueller sounded like, from his FBI-director days. I think he'll do the same pox-on-both-your-houses performance that his pal, and fellow 6 1/2-footer, Comey put on. I think both those guys see themselves as the only people around with any intelligence or integrity, and they literally and figuratively look down on us muck. I can just see them sitting out on the yacht having martinis. "Isn't it great to have these oversized chairs? The little people just don't know how to make furniture, do they?" "I'll drink to that, my friend. Small people with small minds. It's up to us to guide them."

  4. Should be good circus. I misdoubt the ability of Republicans to get to the bottom of anything. I have great faith in the ability of Democrats to generate more smoke down proven-to-be-false trails.
