  1. What's more irrational? Choosing to believe in a myth that offers immortality or denying the possibility of an immortal soul? Is it healthier to believe that living a good life gives you a shot at living forever, or believing that life has no real meaning? Trouble with atheists is they tend to die out, because they're not "bought in" to a life with larger meaning. Crazy or not, the faithful love family and persist over millennia. Believing a myth can be very powerful. We know this. Existential angst can be crippling. And all it takes is faith to get over it and get on with your life. I'm a non-believer who thanks God every morning for waking up and after every meal. I also ask forgiveness when I do something unkind or mean-spirited or feel sorry for myself. I ain't superstitious, but don't sweep me with no broom.
