  1. Although this pre-empts future attacks, this action was not pre-emptive. It was a quick, direct response to the attack on our embassy. Trump's showing them the stick. We'll see if there's a carrot to follow. It may have to wait until after the elections, when the Iranians will finally understand that John Kerry's full of crap and they've got a whole 'nother 4 years of the same stern attitude, so they better wise up. I don't know if they can hold on for another 4 years on the path they've chosen.
