  2. She's trying to take a pure, free-market capitalist line. Which is fine. When the rules are the same for both sides of the trade agreement. When our trade partners subsidize their industries, steal our proprietary secrets, tax our products beyond all reason, and devalue their currency, it can DESTROY our ability to do for ourselves. And as soon as we're totally dependent on imports, they can set prices as they wish, free of competition. The Chinese are attacking our infrastructure. We need to fight back.

  3. It's getting swampier because China's acting like a damn alligator. She's right about free trade being the ultimate expression of good for the people. But when one country CHEATS, you can't just see your jobs fleeing out-of-country, and that's what's been happening. If China's a gator, then we need to be a saltwater CROCODILE!

  4. Jay Benett  : As a boy, "Made in Japan" and "Made in Taiwan" meant shitty quality. Now, "Made in China" means not only shitty, but very possibly TOXIC. And our Western coast is the unhappy recipient of their filthy smokestacks. They have no standards of product quality or of environmental quality. MADE IN USA TO MAGA!
