@michaell4165 : It's been a chronic sore on our national skin for decades, and nobody's done anything. It's not an emergency but it's a serious issue that Democrats and Republicrats have paid lip service to, but never addressed, since before Ronald Reagan. If it takes calling it an "emergency" to get the federal government to do its #1 job, then so be it, as far as I'm concerned. That's Job #1 for the feds, and they want to stick their nose into everything EXCEPT the job we originally hired them to do!
